The dawn is quiet
Sky slightly bright
hush is the word here
boat resting in the arms of the shore
wind pats the water gently on the shoulder
like a mother urging her child to get up
silence everywhere
then a bird or two
practise their voice
in the tiny morning light
trees stretch their arms
start their exercises
grass wipes away tears of last night
then the sun that has been soaking in the water
for many hours
slowly looks up
then jumps up
this scenery
i want to melt in
like a cold drop of water
a wisp of breeze
a blade of lush green grass
a foggy morning this is
dressed in a white veil
the benevolent lake
looming and exuding
fragrance and mystery
like the girl i have always
loved.
